get to know each other

A series of appointments should be scheduled prior to the hearing date at the office or courthouse or virtually either by telephone or Zoom, and they are usually 30-60 minutes.

understanding your rights

Please provide me with the contact information of any necessary witnesses for trial. An interview will need to be arranged and subpoenas served.

determining your goals

It's crucial that I understand your recollection of what lead to these charges, which is why I request that you write out your version of events from beginning to end and provide it to me immediately. This is the most effective tool for memory.

what do you need?

we work hard
in all areas of criminal law

We’ve had cases in different areas of criminal law including:

Drug Offences

Drug-related offences are one of the most serious charges prosecuted in Canada, and they almost inevitably result in Charter litigation. Possession, trafficking, production, and importing are different forms of drug offences that, if guilty, can result in serious long-term repercussions.

Weapons Offences

Firearms offences were among the many criminal charges being brought against people in Canada. Depending on the circumstances, any item that can be used to harm someone can lead to "weapon" accusations.

Sexual assault

The one of the most serious criminal charges a person can face is sexual assault and other sex-related offences. If guilty, these offenses carry substantial consequences, including the possibility of stigmatization and hurting future employment opportunities.

Murder

In Canada, the most serious crime a person may be charged with is murder. When a person is charged with first degree, second degree, or manslaughter, the amount of proof regarding the "planning" and "deliberation" of the murder is a key factor in determining whether they will be charged.
